Second Fitting
The sculptural bussel will help the skirt deify gravity, but it needs more then a highwaisted skirt to support it, the puppy needs a full out corset..
The top is getting closer to the original sketch. Neoprene helps give it soft lift but it still needs more loft.
Top Corset and Bussel
Using black tape I mark where I want the seams to be, then drape over the bussel with muslin.
Construction Research
Looking for ways to make craters and holes, I found technical assistance in the book Pattern Magic. My English copy is in the mail, and will make things a lot easier!
Under Structure-Bussel
After some failed experimentation I think the answer to my volume problems lies in a combination of corset and a bussel.
